Hard Yards is proud to announce Jason Carver, our new Business Development Director.
This announcement is long overdue as Jason joined the team this past spring. Prior to Hard Yards, Jason served as a Navy SEAL senior leader. His last tour was the Operations Chief running Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL (BUD/S) training, widely recognized as the most elite training program in the world. Jason has a proven record in leadership, project management, complex problem solving, collaborative team skills, and logistical planning/execution. He also co-founded Outlier CrossFit in San Diego, CA., which was later sold for profit.
Jason came to Hard Yards through the DoD Skillbridge Program. The DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during their last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences. For Service members, SkillBridge provides an invaluable chance to work and learn in civilian career areas. For industry partners, SkillBridge is an opportunity to access and leverage the world’s most highly trained and motivated workforce.
After connecting with Hard Yards, it was clear Jason was a perfect cultural fit, and his previous experience and vast knowledge made the decision to have him on the full-time team an easy one. Jason brings to Hard Yards an entrepreneurial mindset and passion to professionalize and scale training. He has already proven to be a great asset to the Hard Yards team.
Jason loves to seek challenges professionally and in his free time. Some of his favorite out-of-the-office endeavors include mountain biking, road cycling, and stand-up paddleboarding.
