DoD SkillBridge Partnership

Hard Yards is a proud supporter of the DoD Skillbridge Program.

The DoD SkillBridge Program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during their last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences. For service members, SkillBridge provides an invaluable chance to work and learn in civilian career areas. For industry partners, SkillBridge is an opportunity to access and leverage the world’s most highly trained and motivated workforce.

Andrew Kim

We are excited to announce the newest member of the team, Andrew Kim. Andrew is a former Army Officer who joins the Hard Yards as an intern under the DOD Skillbridge program. He brings 8 years of large-scale combined arms and logistics experience, specializing in transportation, maintenance, and ground support management across the U.S. and the Republic of Korea. He graduated with a Master’s of Business from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business while working full-time as an operations chief on active duty. Prior to joining the Army, he also earned a B.S in International Business from Pepperdine University while serving as a wildland firefighter, deploying in support of NATO during the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, and studying abroad in both Shanghai, China, and Florence, Italy. We’ve had great experience with the DOD Skillbridge program and are looking forward to more successes with Andrew on the team.

The DoD SkillBridge Program has been a great partnership for us and we are thrilled with the results.
